A Passion for Perfect Petals

My find of the week: Whilst searching for an unusual cake topper for a client, I came across these porcelain and crystal bouquets with matching tiara's and cake toppers available from Alyson Lilleyman at http://www.perfect-petals.co.uk/

Individually hand-crafted cold porcelain flowers are a fabulous alternative to fresh flowers and will remain a permanent reminder for many years. Corsages and buttonholes create lovely keepsakes, while bridesmaid posies and hair pieces are terrific gifts, especially for a young bridesmaid to remind her of being a princess for a day!

These flowers, although delicate in appearance, are very strong and will endure the rigours of travel, so perfect for those weddings abroad. I see Alyson is happy to work with you to create a design based on any favourite flowers you may have. Simply gorgeous and so different.

Your Worldwide Wedding Planner

Since the beginning of WeddingsAbroad.com, we have received millions of emails and requests for wedding planning across the world. Lots of emails are from people wanting to work with us or those considering event planning as their future career. Many are just from brides-to-be interested in the day to day running of our business and how we "pull the whole thing" together!

Therefore, I have decided to create this simple journal in order to give more details about our customers, our partners, and explain week by week how we work and more importantly think. We have only one unique goal: to completely satisfy our clients

In the past, we have organised weddings for clients from the UK and Europe, the US and even India and Australia. We also use our experience and skills to arrange, corporate or private events around the world.

This journal is a new way to explain my job and give you an insight into the exciting world of weddings abroad. So bookmark this blog and keep coming back to visit me and say Hi....

Oooh how exciting! My first ever "blog" :-)

What can I say but wow! I thought it was about time I "spread my wings", having created a group and a page for WeddingsAbroad.com on Facebook, I thought I should try my hand at a blog! Well actually it was a comment made by my soon-to-be PR guru Claire Barber.....she suggested a blog written by me might be fun to read...that was after I told her of my impending return to work had muddled my brain by forgetting to put an overnight nappy on my baby!

As the Founder and Managing Director of WeddingsAbroad.com, you can read all about me and an insight into the wonderful world of destination weddings on my website www.weddingsabroad.com.

I am first and foremost a family orientated wife and mother,
and could not do any of what I do without the unending support of my amazing husband Phil and three incredible children, Georgina, Sebastian and Theodore. I am now back in the swing of wedding planning, after having my youngest son 5 months ago. I have that fire in my belly to get back to the hustle and bustle of work, and the excitement of the impending plans I have ahead for the future of WeddingsAbroad.com So bookmark this blog, find us on Facebook and keep up to date with all the exciting changes afoot in the very near future.
